Thank you for your letter. Sorry, I haven't been in touch.
You ask me how I get with my friends. I have a few friends. Sometimes there is misunderstanding between us, we even quarrel sometimes. But I know I can trust them. When I argue with my friends I always try to find a compromise, because true friend must be loyal and reliable. If my friend take offense at me, I' ll give him a chance to come out of such unpleasant situation. 
By the way, what present have you bought for your mum? Where have you bought it? Are you going to buy  the flowers?
