1. Three little children lived in a cottage at a seaside. Their names were Lucy, Harry and Fred Hope.1. Near the cottage there was a long beach of white sand. It was called Sunday Beach.1. The children often went there with their father and mother. They liked to swim in the sea and play in the sand. One day the children went with their father to play at Sandy Beach.1. Their big dog rowing about in a boat. He was far from the shore. The children run, played ball and made houses in the sand.1. The dog was running with the children.
Then they heard a loud scream. They looked up and saw that the boy was in the water. Nobody was swimming in the sea and nobody could help the little boy.
Mr. Hope called the dog and Bruno ran up to him. Mr. Hope pointed to the little boy in the water. "Help him, quick!" he cried to the dog. Bruno knew what his master wanted. He jumped into the water, swam to the boy and caught him by the shirt. Then he swam back again with the little boy. Soon the boy was on the beach. Since that day they loved their dog Bruno more than ever.
