1.The concert was a greater success than we had expeсted. we were very glad. В первом случае Past Simple простое прошедшее, во втором - Past perfect т.к. это действиеhad experted было совершено ранее, чем was. Концерт прошел с большим успехом, чем он ожидал.
2. He told me that if no one came to meet me at the station, I could leave the suitcases in the checkroom and go to the hotel where he had reserved a room for me.
первые три глагола Past simple, четвертый глагол - Past perfect, т.к. это действие произошло ранее этого момента.
3. Lanny returned home after seven years of absence. During there seven years he had been studying in Cape Town where his people had sent him. Lanny was glad at the throught that soon he would be among his people again. первый глагол - Past Simple, Второй - PAst Perfect continuous - длительное прошедшее время, действие закончилось перед определенный действием, трeтий глагол - Past perfect - т.к. это действие произошло ранее другого действия. четвертый глагол - будущее в прошедшем. (согласование времен)
