1. Moscow and St. Petersburg stand on the banks of two rivers - Moskva and Neva.
2. There are the floowing monuments in Moscow: Peter The Great statue on the Moskva river, the statue of Yuri Dolgoruki on Tverskaya, the statue of Alexander Pushkin on Pushinskaya Square, the Minin and Pozharsky monument and others.
There are the following monuments in St. Petersburg: the Bronze Horseman on Senat Square, the monument to Alexander Pushkin on Arts Square, the monument to Catherine the Great on Ostrovsky Square and others.
The most famous theatres are the Bolshoy in Moscow and the Mariinsky in St. Petersburg. Both cities have a lot of museums and picture galleries. They are the Pushkin Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery and the Historical museum in Moscow and  the Hermitage, the Russian Museum and the Peter and Paul fortress in St. Petersburg.
Everyone knows streets like Tverskaya and Arbat in Moscow and Nevsky Prospekt and Fontanka in St. Petersburg.
The Red Square in Moscow and the Palace Square in St. Petersburg are places where thousands of tourists come annually.
The most known parks of Moscow are Gorky Park and Sokolniki. The most known parks in St. Petersburg are the Summer Garden and the Catherine Garden.
There are many places of interest in Moscow: the Kremlin, the St. Basil's Cathedral, Kuskovo estate and others. In St. Petersburg they are the Alexander Column, the St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Kazan Cathedral and many others.
