Надо всё равно потом обговорить с другом, т.к. требуется диалог. Вот лишь наброски.
Life in the desert is very difficult. Why? There is no water, there is very hot at the afternoon. Only some animals can live in the desert. There is very poor kindness of plants(скудная растительность). If man or animal wants to find water, he must go days and days to find it.
Life in tropical forest. There are a lot of animals, plants, mushrooms, fish etc. who live in tropical forest. Why? Water can give "life"to any fish or animal. Any animal can find food in such forest.
We can say: there is no life in desert(poor life) and there is rich life in the forest.
