1. Dorothy was carried into the land of Oz by a tornado which took her away from her native farm in Kansas.

2. She went to see the Wizard of Oz in order to ask him to send her back home into the USA.

3. Dorothy has thrown a bucket of water onto the Wicked Witch which caused the Witch melting.

4. The Scarecrow wanted to get brains from the Wizard, the Tin Woodman wanted to achieve a heart, and the Cowardly Lion hoped to be given the courage.

5. They saw the real Great and Terrible Oz after Toto had occasionally knocked over the screen hiding the wizard.

6. Oz didn't look powerful and great at all, he was a little old man who had a funny thin voice and was more like a swindler than a great magician.
