Martin Luther King was born in 1929 in Georgia, USA. He studies in college in Alabama. There the black and the white were not equal. Martin Luther King together with Rose Parks worked on this problem. In 1956 the law was changed.
Martin Luther King fought for the rights on the black. He got the Nobel Prize in 1964. He became a hero. But some people hated him. In 1968 he was shot and died. His 4 children continued his work. 
In January Americans selebrate Martin Luther King's day.
