All English people celebrate Cristmas on the 25th of December.
Christmas! What kind of holiday is it? This holiday me ans(означает) the beginning of the rew year and the new life. English people celebrate this holiday with the Cristmas tree. Chirdren put a Cristmas stocking on the beds and Santa Claus brings them presents: sweets, chocolate and biscuits.
Cristmas Day is the greate st holiday in England. It is interesting to visit the shops before this holiday. There are a lot of nice Crisrmas cards and presents there. English people like this holiday very much and prepare for beforehard(заранее). They bue presents for each other, try to send Cristmas cards for the it relative and friends.
It is interesting to visit London during this holiday. There is a Cristmas tree in Trafalgar Square. We can see many lights, toys and sweets all over this tree. Everywhere (повсюду) you can see slogans "A Merry Crisrmas and Happy New Year".
The traditional English dinner on Cristmas is a turkey and pudding.
