People in Britan and many other countries of Europe celebrate this festival on 25 December. They celebrate it as the day when Jesus Christ was born and send greetings to each other. It is often cold, wet and foggy at Christmas in Britain. Families decorate their home and Christmas trees and often put candles in each window to show that Jesus Christ is the light of the World. 
You can see Christmas lights on the streets. People often hang them there. There are Christmas trees in squares and other important places. People decorate them with bells, bright balls, Christmas stockings, toys and lights. You can hear music from different places.
