This country is loved by many people throughout the entire world. It attracts us with horizonless green lands, mysterious folk tales, culture and traditions, literature, pubs with a good whiskey and beer, architecture and other things. Today it is the third most popular country searched on social networks to visit.
The Irish say it’s possible to see every season in a day in Ireland because of country’s location in the middle of the Atlantic – it means that the weather changes too often. Even if a day is full of rain and storm, the place always stays a symbol of tranquility and relax, where people’s sorrows unwind immediately. Picturesque lands, coastline and the islands make people fall in love with the country.
Some people suppose that the Irish are alcoholic, but this is not quite true – they develop the art of drinking, not alcoholism. They really consume a lot of whiskey and beer per year. The most popular of them are Guinness, Smithwicks (Kilkenny), and Harp Lager. Streets of big cities and small villages are full of bars and pubs with open-hearted visitors and friendly atmosphere. This is a part of national culture and it is not disapproved by others.
Ireland is a land of festivals , where native Irishmen dance and drink together. The most popular of them is St. Patrick’s Day celebrated all around the world: people have fun, look for leprechaun’s gold, dress in green clothes and sing songs. Ireland is also a motherland of such legendary poets and writers as James Joyce, William Butler Yeats, Thomas Moore, Oscar Wilde, Bram Stoker and Jonathan Swift.
However there are some disadvantages of leaving there. Unemployment is too high and rises every year. Financial crisis disturbs locals a lot: redundancy, unbelievable job competition, financial difficulties, etc. Although, almost everybody still dreams about visiting the country and feeling the incredible atmosphere of Ireland.
