The Flag of Kazakhstan

The national flag of Kazakhstan was officially adopted in June 1992. It was designed by Shaken Niyazbekov. The flag of Kazakhstan consists of a light blue field with an ornament. The ornament is composed of a steppe eagle, which carries on its wings a sun with thirty-two sun rays. A blue colour of the sky symbolizes honesty, fidelity and integrity.These symbols stand together for the freedom and high ideals of the Kazakh people.
