1. Thinking for my self, on the one hand living on island has lots of pluses, for example: climate on island like UK is cool, because of humidity (влажность), there are a lot of grass, and green trees.
On the other hand UK is island, so because of these there can be also natural disasters, like tsunami.( From a military point of view ( с военной точки зрения) UK has a big chance to win on sea, if warships will come. < это можно не писать, рассуждение в слух))))
2. Of course no one can get to an island by car, by train, by bus or by bicycle. You can get to an island only by air or on water, like by boats and airplaines.
3. The fastest way to get to England is by airplain, so I suppouse every one will choose this method.
