Moscow is the capital of the Russian Federation.It is the main political, economic,educational and cultural centre of our country. Moscow is the seat of our Government.President of Russia lives and works there.The city was founded by Yuri Dolgoruki.It stands on the Moskva River.There are many places of interest in it.The heart of Moscow is Red Square.The Moscow Kremlin and St. Basil's Cathedral are masterpieces of Russian architecture.The Tretyakov Gallery has hundreds of paintings.Moscow is proud of the Bolshoy, Maly and Art theatres.Moscow is a scientific centre,too.
The Academy of Sciences of Russia,the oldest university,  many institutes and colleges are located there.Many concerts, shows and festivals take place every day in our capital.There are 9 railway stations and 4 airports in Moscow.People from all parts of the world visit this beautiful city. I am proud of my capital.
