I went to school at the age of seven. It was an ordinary school. After four years of primary school I moved to secondary school. The elementary and secondary schools together are 11 years of schooling. Nine years of schooling are compulsory in our republic. The school includes such subjects as Kazakh language, mathematics, Russian language, drawing, physical education, music and the natural history. Our school year begins on September 1 and ends in May. It lasts 9 months.
