The United States of America is one of the greatest countries in the world. It is situated on the North American continent and is washed by three oceans: the Pacific, the Atlantic and the Arctic. The USA only borders on two countries — Canada and Mexico. This great country has a lot of mountains, rivers, lakes.The United States of America is a federative republic. Since 1959 the Federation comprises 50 states. The president is the head of the state and executive body.The climate of the country is very changeable. In the  southern part it is subtropical while the northern part has very cold weather in winter. America has fifty states and one federal District of Columbia where the capital of the country is situated. The capital of the USA is Washington.

Ukraine occupies an area of 603 700 km2.  It has state borders with Russia, Belarus and Moldova. It also borders on Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. In the south it is washed by the Black and the Azov Seas. The capital of the Ukraine is Kyiv. Ukraine has its own state symbols, Constitution, currency and government.There is the Crimean Autonomous Republic in Ukraine, 24 administrative districts and the cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol. Climat is mostly moderately continentalDue tofavourable climatic conditions, Ukraine is traditionally an agricultural country. Wheat, maize and other corns, vegetables, all kinds of fruit are grown here. The country is rich in natural resources, such as iron ore, coal, non-ferrous metals, oil, gas.
