№1     A small two storey building in the city center located at the intersection of Platovskiy Avenue and Moskovskaya street. Made in the style of classicism. On the facade a graceful balcony with cast grate and open portals at the entrances. Designed and built the Palace acting Valprede in 1863.
Ataman Palace was a residence for dignitaries including the Emperor during his visit to the city. Now it is a branch of the Museum of the don Cossacks. On the ground floor is exhibition of various Museum exhibits on the second recreated the spectacular beauty and richness of the decoration of the gallery of interiors, the state rooms, the Cabinet of ataman, dining room, large living room. In front of the Palace is a small square with a fountain.
