About two hundred years ago the man lived in greater harmony with his
environment because (industrial) was not much developed.
Today the situation is quite (differ), the contradictions
between man and (natural) are dramatic. People all over the
world are worried about what is happening to the environment. Newspapers,
magazines write about water, air and land (pollute). Litter
is an (importance) problem for populated cities. People
don’t always put garbage into the garbage cans. It’s easier to drop paper
than to find a garbage can for it. Litter makes the places we live in look
(dirt) and it also causes health problems.
Much of the waste from factories, the chemical industry, and heavy industry is
very (danger). Fish dies in the lakes, rivers, seas; forest
trees die too. Much of this dangerous waste goes into the air and is spread
by winds over great distances.
People in big cities don’t get enough oxygen. They suffer from smog. You
can (hard) breathe the air in our cities any more.
The Earth is everybody’s home and nobody likes living in a dirty
home. Together, we can make the Earth a cleaner, healthier and more
(pleasure) place to live.
