Many Russian people have a plot of land - "Dacha". They often have a small house where they can relax or grow fruit and vegetables in the garden. On weekends, millions of people go to their dachas outside the city. People take bags, backpacks and small carts.

You can often see cats and dogs in cars, because people usually take their pets with them. People spend their weekends at the dacha during spring, summer and autumn. Many people grow vegetables such as cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and potatoes, while others prefer to grow flowers. In summer they swim and fish in nearby lakes and rivers. Autumn is beautiful, because all the trees, the grass turn yellow, and there are many bright colors. In dachas people can relax and escape from the noisy city life.
