People always try to invent something new that can simplify their life or solve some problems. The more a person want to simplify his life, the harder and more professional become robots and automated systems. Several years ago robots were unreal and fantastic, but nowadays robotics is one of the fast growing industries in Russia.
First of all, in order to understand how robots have entered our everyday life, it is worthwhile to understand what a robot is. So, a robot is a multipurpose automatic machine which allows carrying out all mechanical actions. Thus, a robot can be called even an ordinary washing machine, which is almost used in every house.
Today millions of robots are used in Russia. They work in factories, in medical laboratories, as well as in military bases and in space missions.
Within the next decades, more and more perfect robots will become indispensable helpers of people and will be able to assume the most part of civilization needs. More and more industrial operations will be robotized.
The use of custom manufacturing will require universal mobile robots which cannot only perform a set of operations at the working place, but also move freely through industrial rooms, carry components and finished goods between working places, and react flexibly to changes in the production process. Soon such physically simple things as the work of a chemist or a librarian will be given to robots.
What is more, a huge amount of almost completely robotic factories and plants will have begun to appear by 2020. By this time, robots will have actively used in agriculture.
In conclusion I would like to say that robots will be captivating factories and plants in the near future. Probably, a lot of people will lose their jobs.
