War is the most terrible thing that can happen in the life of every person. The sudden attack of Nazi Germany on ordinary people. But nothing can break the strong spirit of the people, they have only Victory ahead of them! War! Just one word carries a lot of fear, pain, screams and tears of mothers, children, wives, the loss of beloved ones and thousands of glorious soldiers who lost the life for other generations… How many children the war left orphaned, and made wives widowed with black kerchiefs on their heads. How many terrible memories the war left in human memory. War is the pain of human destinies caused by those bloody rulers. And if you think about it, even in our time, there is not a single family from which the war has not taken away or simply crippled a person close to us with bullets, shrapnel, or just its echoes. After all, we all remember and honour the heroes of the great Patriotic War. We remember their battles, their unity, their belief in a great victory, and their loud Russian "HURRAH!" The great Patriotic War can be called-sacred. After all, all people came up to the defence of their homeland, not being afraid of a stray bullet, torment, captivity and much more. Our ancestors were united and went forward to recapture their land from the enemy, the land where they were born and raised. The Soviet people were not broken even by the suddenness of the attack on June 22, 1941, when the German fascists attacked the country early in the morning. Hitler believed in a quick victory, as it was in many European countries, which surrendered and submitted to him almost without resistance. Our people did not have many weapons, but this fact did not frighten them, and they went forward confidently, not giving up their positions, protecting their relatives and Homeland. The road to victory ran through many obstacles. War battles developed both on the ground and in the sky. There was not a single person who did not contribute to this Victory. Young girls who served as medics and dragged wounded soldiers from the battlefield on their backs, how much strength and courage they had. How much faith they carried, giving it to the wounded! Men went boldly into battle, covering those who were in the rear with their backs, their homes and families! Children and women worked in factories at the machines, producing ammunition that brought cherished success in skilled hands! And no matter what, but that moment came, the moment of the long-awaited victory. The army of Soviet soldiers after many years of fighting was able to drive the fascists from their native land. Our hero soldiers reached the borders of Germany, and stormed Berlin-the capital of the fascist country. All this happened in 1945. In May, on the 8th, Germany signed its full surrender.  A day was truly with tears in our eyes, great joy in our soul and a sincere smile on our face! Remembering the stories of grandfathers, grandmothers and people who participated in these hostilities, we can conclude that only a strong spirit could lead to victory!

On Victory Day a procession to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is organized in Moscow. The parades, salutes and fireworks are also organized in the hero cities and in all cities and towns of the country as well as a moment of silence in honour of all war heroes. In conclusion, I really want to say: "Thank you, Great warriors!"
