The presidency of John Kennedy was marked by the Caribbean crisis and the beginning of the space program.
During th Nixon presidency American astronauts landed on the Moon. Nixon is the first American president to visit China.
During the Clinton presidency, America became the leader in the field of high technology. The clinton administration has achieved a worlwide abolition of nuclear weapons tests.

3. I can name such mighty American rivers as the Missouri river, the Mississippi River and the Rio Grande.

5. I think the US has almost every kind of weather beause the US has practically all the climatic zones. It varies from southern Florida where almost there is no winter at all, to the territory of North Dakota and Alaska, where there are long and very cold winters.
6. The Grand Canyon is one of the main tourist attraction because of its overwhelming size and its intricate and colorful landscape. Its spectacular vistas are unmatched throughout the world.
