Speaking about British culture, it should be borne in mind that a significant contribution to its development was made by numerous Indian immigrants, as well as many of those who moved here from the countries of the Caribbean.

By its political structure, Great Britain is a democratic country. In Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland there are separate governments, but the supreme authority in the territory of the whole kingdom is the parliament.

There's a tradition ; Queen's speech on TV .She congratulates the whole nation and wishes good luck in coming year .
