It is more than 8 kilometres long. The wall has got many watch towers and houses for soldiers. The First Chinese Emperor started to build the wall 2000 years ago to protect the north of his empire from enemy attacks. B. The Golden Gate Bridge is a bridge that crosses over the San Francisco Bay. It was finished in 1937. It is very beautiful. People can cross the bridge in cars any time. They can use bicycles or walk over the bridge only during the day. People cannot cross the bridge on roller skates or skateboards. When the bridge opened, drivers had to pay 50 cents to cross the bridge in either direction. Today drivers pay only if they go south. C. The Sydney Opera House is a building in Australia. It was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1973. The Opera House looks like the sails of a boat. Many concerts and performances take place there. There are also restaurants and cafes in the building. The Sydney Opera House is the symbol of the country and the continent.
