Family Values
Family values are qualities that are most important to your family, or rules that your family members believe to be important. Every family has a unique set of values.
In my family we know that it is vital to stick together in all kinds of situations. Our family is like a safe harbor — we know that no matter what happens, we will always find support and understanding of our family. Being there for one another, without hesitation or excuse, is at the top of the list.
We all love and respect each other. That means that when making decisions we take into account feelings, needs and preferences of each other.
All children in my family are taught that lying is no good because it ruins trust. So honesty is another value that our family has.
We also know how important it is to be able to forgive and to be generous, to give and expect nothing in return.
Such values unite all members of our family giving us a sense of security and confidence in this ever changing world.
