Peter Olsen, aged 12, is in the rabbit rental service. From his rabbit hutches he offers a wide range of rabbits for classroom studies. Peter’s rabbits are a mixed breed, a good thing, he says, because if three teachers in a school want rabbits, they don’t want them to be all the same colour or size.
Peter supplies feeding and care instructions when a client comes to pick up a rabbit. The rental fee is one pound and he expects it to be returned in good condition. “They always come back looking good,” he says. “The children feed them well with lettuce and carrots.” He has a title for his business: Peter Rental Rabbit Service.
