the televiaion has become an essential part of our reality, the source of information and enternatainment. it is so easy to learn what is on and what channel. the first broadcasting of a moving image in the soviet union happened in 1932 and the first tv center was organaized in 1937 in shabolovka, moscow. in 1945 the soviet union became the first in europe to start mass broadcasting two days a week. by 1988 the television had become the most important information medium. about 350 stations broadcast the latest news and provided the population with up-to-date information, entertainment regular shows, educational, cultural and sports programmes, documentaries and feature films on four channels.
