.. Yesteday i saw a documentary film about your Lake Baikal.It would be horrible if we don't stop ruining this unique ecosystem.

What are the most dangerous ecological problems in your opinion?What do you and your friends do to protect your local environment?What can we do to attract people's attention to ecological problems?

Dear Michael,  

Hi! Thank you for your letter. I should say that you are spot on! To my mind, air pollution is the most dangerous ecological problem. Pollutants in the air aren't visible but negatively affect people, nature and animals. They are very harmful for everybody`s life and health. Air pollution is linked to serious diseases, such as asthma, cancer, heart problems. Personally, I participate in voluntary projects connecting with litter collection. We remove rubbish on the river banks in autumn. I think people can limit this problem by reducing rubbish. I like the idea of separate collection of waste. People must be aware of ecological problems. There are many ads on social media, which attract people's attention to ecological problems.
