Why do people associate the green colour with progress? Write down your

That is interesting question. We all know that progress always pointed with a green color. Progress bars and so on are created in green color. Why? I think that is occuring because red color (as a color of fail) associated with a blood or something bad but green color like a grass or something bright and good is symbolized progress and accomplishment.
