This knowledge helped them in their inventions. now I will give examples of people who have made great discoveries for our world. Thomas Alva Edison: when there were no cars, no phones, and no other means of communication, he invented the light bulb. by the standards of the time it was a very significant invention.  Alexander Graham bell invented the telephone and the Telegraph. this invention had no price.
