On the first picture I can see the family. This family is very big, there are many relatives. Members of the family look very happy. I can see that they are outside. Probably they have a picnic all together.
On the second picture there is some family as well. Grandparents, parents and children exchange their gifts, they are happy, because they get together for Christmas celebration.
The both pictures have some similarities, for example, these families are very big because they have three generations at once and happy because they all spend their family time together. As for diffirences, I can say that the first family has their time together outside, in the nature, and the second family celebrates the holiday inside, at home.
