Born October 10, 2000 in the family of the famous judoka Gennady Beloded and his wife Svetlana Kuznetsova.
Since childhood, I followed in my father's footsteps. Parents became her trainers.
The first significant success was achieved in 2015, winning the country's championship in its age category, and then the European and World Championships.
She won her first “adult” gold medal in March 2017 at the Open Continental Cup in Prague. On April 20, 2017, Daria Bilodid became the champion at the European Championships in Warsaw in the weight category up to 48 kilograms; she defeated Russian Irina Dolgova in the final. On her way to the finals, Daria also defeated Maria Persian (Russia), Militsa Nikolic (Serbia) and Eva Chernovetsky (Hungary). At an adult level, these were just her second competition.

At the pre-Olympic world championship in 2019, which was held in Tokyo, she won a gold medal, having defeated the Japanese athlete Funu Tanaki in the final.
