Yurta is a portable dwelling of nomads.The Yurta was carried on camels and horses.It was a very convenient dwelling for nomads, because it was compact, easy to assemble and disassemble, did not miss the cold and heat.The Yurta consisted of felt.

      The bais had larger yurts than the simple nomads.The bais had larger yurtas and they were embroidered with Kazakh national patterns, while the poor had simple and small yurtas.Yurtas remained and nowadays they are put on Kazakh national holidays.
