I know that most children like to play computer games or video games. Well, I like playing outdoor games with my friends.
My favourite game is called "Traffic Lights" ("Светофор"). We draw a long line on the ground and another line about five or six metres away from the first one. One child is a traffic signal (or the game leader), so he or she stands between the two lines with his or her back to the other players. All the other children stand on one of the lines.
The leader calls out a colour and turns around to see the players. The kids look for this colour on their clothes. If they find it, then they show it and walk quietly across "the road" to the other line. If a child hasn't got any clothes of this colour, he or she has to run to the other line and the leader tries to catch/tag them. The child who is caught takes the leader's place. If all the kids manage to walk or run to the other line, the game leader turns away again and calls out another colour.

Моя любимая игра называется «Светофор». Мы рисуем длинную линию на земле и еще одну линию примерно в пяти или шести метрах от первой. Один ребенок - это светофор (или водящий), поэтому он или она становится между двумя линиями спиной к другим игрокам. Все остальные дети встают на одну из линий.
Водящий называет цвет и поворачивается лицом к игрокам. Дети ищут этот цвет на своей одежде. Если находят, то показывают его и спокойно переходят «дорогу» к другой линии. Если у ребенка нет одежды этого цвета, он должен перебежать к другой линии, и ведущий пытается поймать/осалить его. Тот, кого осалят, становится водящим. Если все прошли-перебежали на другую сторону, водящий отворачивается и загадывает новый цвет.
