On a hill a short distance from the house is a wood, and a small stream flows past the end of the garden, which also contains a small pond. The name of the house, Rose Cottage, on the garden gate, from which a path leads to the front door. On the ground floor there is a large living room , a dining room, a kitchen and bathroom and toilet. Upstairs the are three bedroóm. There is also a garage next to the house. The village has a post office, a small shop and a pub, and there is a railway station three miles away.
