The Eiffel Tower, built in 1889, on the occasion of the World's Fair, organized to celebrate the centenary of the 1789 Revolution;

At the very top there is a television antenna at an altitude of 320 meters. The tower weighs 9 million kg and its construction cost five million francs. It is repainted every seven years.
