People often start by writing to friends and family. Some people then start sending hand - written letters to strangers such as people in nursing homes and hospitals to cheer them up. And it’s not just about putting a smile on someone 's face. Writing letters can also improve handwriting skills as well as help a person with grammar and spelling. As a pastime, it is relaxing way for all ages to unwind after a hard day and a perfect activity for a boring rainy day.
So, if you are bored with nothing to do, why not grab some paper and a pen and get writing? Anyone can do it and you may just make someone's day and, who knows, you might just inspire them to put pen to paper, too.
