You wrote that you've started learning French. I find this decision quite interesting. By the way, I have also started learning German a month ago. I like it! It is very exciting. Knowing several languages will help us in our future life. It is not just a way of communicating. This knowledges also can help us to find a job or make friends. Sometimes we need to know some information or to ask something. But knowing the languages we can do it all.
To sum up, I want to say, that while we have time and we are young we should do as much as we can because nobody knows what situations can happen in our lives.
