It is difficult to imagine that Somalia was once a completely reliable country where the economy was developing, there was a relatively stable policy, and no armed people walked the streets. But in the 1990s, the country plunged into the abyss of a civil war that has not stopped to this day. There are practically no tourists here, which is not surprising, because travelers have every chance of dying on the harsh Somali land, being held hostage by local bandits, and at best being robbed or maimed. Somalia has no laws, government officials barely control the capital of Mogadishu, while the rest of the country is practically anarchy.
