Two million years ago, there was no Internet, transportation, industry, dishes, clothing, and many other things, without which our life seems unreal to us. How did the ancient people survive? But they also had to hunt to feed themselves, to shelter from rains and cold, to defend themselves from wild animals.
In ancient times, people lived in small groups or families, so it was easier for them to cope with various difficulties and solve problems. Later, the groups began to unite and the first tribes appeared. Each tribe had its own leader. All people had their duties. They went hunting together, defended themselves from dangerous animals, and were engaged in cooking.
Natural conditions and weather greatly influenced the life of ancient people. When it did not rain for a long time and there was a severe drought, they had nothing to eat. Edible herbs and berries did not grow, and if there were fires, all the animals took shelter from the fire and ran away over long distances, so it was impossible to hunt.
The ancient people did not have the tools, and they invented sharpening stones and sticks. They carved animal carcasses with sharp stones, and used sharp sticks for hunting and digging up delicious roots.
Primitive people lived in caves or ravines, closer to the water. This gave them the opportunity for a successful hunt, when the animals went on a watering place. Soon they learned how to make fire, because they realized that it creates heat in their homes, scares away wild animals, and that roasted meat tastes better than raw. A special guard was appointed to support the fire and ensure that it did not go out.
The life of the first people was dangerous and difficult, but in their development they learned a lot and acquired the necessary skills to cope and tame the forces of nature.
