Earthquakes are more dangerous today than in the past, as half of the world's population lives in cities. Serious earthquakes have happened in Turkey, Greece, Central America. On 8 2001, an earthquake completely destroyed the city of El Salvador, which at that time was being rebuilt by residents after the strongest hurricane of 1998. Nature seems to take revenge on us (turns on us). We polluted the air, water and soil, we dump tons of waste into the water, our factories emit various gases into the atmosphere. The planet is getting warmer. As a result, the warmer ocean produces devastating tsunamis, cyclones and hurricanes. The governments of all countries must think about how to protect the planet, clean it of debris, create a favorable habitat for people and animals.
