He breathed new life into them and taught them to use their hands and their minds. These people built houses, cities and ships, they cultivated the fields. . He banned Prometheus and all the gods from giving these people the fire. Prometheus gave his creatures almost all that he could. And he decided to give them the fire. When Zeus knew about it, he was very angry and sent many diseases to people. He also punished Prometheus for his crime. Prometheus was chained to a rock and he 

without food and drink. Famous Heracles, the son of Zeus, broke the chains and gave him back his freedom.
