Для начала правило:

any, употребляем с отрицательными и вопросительными предложениями.

some, только в положительных предложениях

a, an только с единственным числом

(a- пишется перед согласной буквой (a cat, a dog))

(an- пишется перед гласной буквой (an umbrella))

(НО: есть исключения, когда мы что-то предлагаем. К примеру:

Would you some tea or coffee(это вопрос, но мы употребляем some)
