My favorite holiday is New Year.
New Year is celebrated in most countries of the world - on the night of December 31 to January 1. This is a family holiday, it is customary to celebrate it in the family circle.

It is celebrated in different ways around the world. Somewhere at the table, waiting for gifts under the tree. Somewhere instead of a Christmas tree, it is customary to hang socks over the fireplace, and somewhere to hold carnivals. The day before the holiday, the whole country prepares, people on this day complete all the affairs, put the house in order, and also decorate the Christmas tree that stands in their house, set the table.

Music and entertainment shows are shown on almost all channels. 5 minutes before the beginning of the New Year, the speech of the President of the country is broadcast on TV channels. Exactly at 12 o'clock at night, the chimes begin to strike. At this moment, bottles of champagne are opened on all tables, people make wishes for the New Year. At this moment, fireworks start flying out of the windows of the houses, in all houses you can hear congratulations filled with joy and happiness. It is at this moment that Santa Claus puts gifts for children under the tree.
I like that people rejoice and congratulate other people, fireworks are launched on the street itself, and long-awaited gifts await me under the tree.

Ответ:

В 1 абзаце 2 предл. после New year без is тк ты используешь past simple, и во 2 абзаце 1 предл. It без is,я лично так считаю

Объяснение:

Я оправдываюсь аргументом что ты использовала в этих предложениях Past simple и вспомогательный глагол is тут не пригодится
