Dear Auntie Jane,
I’m writing to thank you for helping me to choose mum’s fiftieth birthday present.
I had no idea what to get her so I really enjoyed looking for a present with you. She loved the earrings we choose.
Dad gave her a holiday to Venice. They’re planning to go for two weeks and while they’re away, I’m going to stay with Nicole, my best friend. I’ll need to sleep on her sofa but I don’t mind doing that. It’ll be fun!
Anyway, I should go now because I promised to help with the dinner tonight and I have to finish doing my homework.
