Sochi is my city
Of course, Sochi is, first of all, a fairy tale. Someone's childhood dream come true. Magic made a reality. How many people can say that they love Sochi! But not everyone is given to confess his love to him, as a dear and close creature. And I am always glad, realizing that Sochi is my hometown.
The city of clear blue sea, high azure sky, stunningly gentle sunlight and always attractive aroma of pleasure and celebration.
Tell me, what other city can boast of the fact that its population, like a big throbbing heart, can increase depending on the season. And it really is magic. Even yesterday, calm and spacious streets are suddenly filled with human polyphony, bright clothes and some kind of elusive, but stunning charm.
And the whole city, like a huge oriental bazaar, is teeming with noisy rows of vegetables and fruits, some unthinkable handicrafts, souvenirs, sparkling things that fly no worse than hot cakes, so desired by tourists, to different parts of the country, then to become a reminder of the very same accomplished in some unreal miracle of the past.
Try to think at least once in your life and then fulfill this cherished desire, and you will understand that the memory of this accomplishment will always warm your soul, even in the most severe frosts and blizzards.
Although there are no frosts and snowstorms in Sochi. There are palm trees in Sochi. The sun. Sea. Sky. Embankments. Beaches. Waves. Yachts. Surfs. Hang gliders. Dolphins. It seems that even the coat of arms of Sochi has almost all of the above. Sochi has everything you need to be happy. And even more, if possible.
In fact, modern Sochi is not just a pearl of the resort and tourist business on the Black Sea coast, but also a developing industrial and port city. Its inhabitants are eternal workers who are not familiar with peace and laziness.
This can be easily seen by examining only the list of enterprises, universities and research bases of the city.
For guests of the city, there are also a lot of cultural venues, theaters, water parks and dance floors. In addition, it is in Sochi that one can witness such grandiose events as Kinotavr, Voting Kivin, New Wave, Retro FM Legends and fashion and jazz festivals.
And these are just annual events held in Sochi. What can we say about various flash mobs and one-time promotions that took place in the city in different years, not counting such grandiose events as the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics and the World Football Championship, which attracted an unimaginable number of guests to the city.
Separately, we can say about the Formula 1 races, which have recently also become a regular stage of the world championship. However, this is not the whole list of sports and cultural events offered to the Sochi public.
Thanks to such events, my Sochi has become not only the resort and tourist capital of the country, a place where sports fans and experts in various fields of culture aspire, but also a multifaceted and multifunctional center of industry in southern Russia. My Sochi. Dear and beloved.
