The most famous holiday in Russia is the New Year's day. The beginning of the year on January 1 was established by the Roman ruler Julius Caesar in 46 BC. So, Russian people celebrated it on the 31st December and on the 1st January.

On this day whole country celebrates the advent of new happiness, greets their relatives and just have fun. Moreover, people also buy a lot of tangarines, make salads, decorate a flat and tree.

Everyone gives each other gifts, and it's snowing outside...
