Being shy is a really common problem for teenagers and you should at least learn to deal with it. One of the best ways to overcome shyness is to rehearse shying situations. If you hate talking to  boys,  start by simply saying “hey” to one you like. Once you’ve done it several times, you will be surprised by your shyness. Don’t give yourself a hard time if you make some sort of mistake. You’re just a human!
