There are many parks in Moscow, and in the summer the Russian capital becomes very green. One of the most famous parks is Gorky Park. It was first opened in 1928. In 2011, many changes happened in Gorky Park. Lakes were cleaned, new trees were planted, old buildings were removed and a museum was opened. Now the park looks modern and pretty. In the summer visitors enjoy lying on the grass or renting a boat on the lake. In the winter, a big skating rink works in Gorky Park, which is so big that it has special places for ice dancing, hockey and just skating. Besides the grassy areas, trees and lakes, there are many cafes, playgrounds for children, a special place for skatelboarders and bicycle tracks.
