Some of them dream to become Hollywood actors, others have a wish to live in cozy houses with white fences. Anyway, the USA attracts with its spirit of freedom and democracy. But what is real America really like?
First, Americans are pleasant, hospitable, and friendly people. In cities and suburbs, neighbors spend their free time together, people smile and are always happy to help if needed. Sometimes you can even get compliments from strangers. This country is one of the friendliest and kindest communities in the world.
Second, there are many more educational and work opportunities in the United States. The country offers its guests an amazing education at many of the best universities, colleges and business schools in the world.
Moreover, in the United States, you are completely free, as the locals accept you as you are, regardless of age, gender, race, citizenship, mental ability, and even food and lifestyle preferences. People admire this country because there is freedom of speech here. Americans can say what they want and express their opinions openly. To be honest, in other countries this can lead to arrest and imprisonment.
In addition, the USA is one of the most multicultural countries - people from all over the world come here to stay. It is an incredibly friendly country towards visitors with a huge variety of special programs and benefits for foreigners. Other good things in America are first aid and emergency rooms.
Plus, we love this country for its films and celebrities (actors, actresses, singers, filmmakers and boy bands). You don't have to go to Hollywood to see famous people, because they, like all ordinary people, go to the cinema, theaters, restaurants and parks.
I am planning to travel to the USA next summer to participate in the Work and Travel program. I hope that I will travel more than work, because in the United States people can do this without leaving the country.
