She’s been on the throne since she was 25 years old; she recently buried her beloved husband of 73 years, has weathered several scandals surrounding her children and grandchildren. And yet, she almost always has a smile on her face in public. She is extremely knowledgeable about all things horsey, especially race horses and horse racing. She has slowed down the last few years and delegated out some of her duties to her children, grandchildren and the wives of both. Though she does not rule or govern, still she has guided her country and Commonwealth nations through more than one storm. She is a quite remarkable woman.
